I took possession of my new rifle this weekend. I wasn't too excited about the few blotches of paint that were thrown on the stock so I took a stab at re-doing it. I am quite pleased with my first attempt. Remington Sendero 7mm

First off, yes good job for a 1st try. But taking out the barreled action would of made it much easier yes:)
 
I was thinking the same thing.......lol

Actually I would have just masked the glass and painted it all

Looks very good though
 
Yes, I realize dissembling would be easier however, I just purchased with work completed (glass bedded, floated, etc). I am no gunsmith and would rather be safe than sorry and not F it up taking it apart and putting back together.
