4 vain vs 3 vain

I currently use 3 gains with a right helical. I know there are some people out there that use 4 vains. Do any of you guys see a real advantage to the additional vain? It seems to me it would create more drag, but thats just my thought.

With today's preferred setups I just don't see the need for four fletch, unless you are way out of tune. back when it was shoot around risers and 700gr arrows- you had to steer the arrow with authority. Now, heck, just compare the surface area of the 'modern' high profile fletch to an older parabolic.

Less is more. Unless you just like drag.
