I know I may catch some grief for this but I need some help. I still shoot a Carolina archery products version of the whisker biscuit and am having a hard time finding replacement discs. I need the one with the two screws on the bottom. I hear there may be an upgrade kit out there too. Please help I don't have the money to buy a new rest.

DONT KNOW ABOUT THE REPLACEMENT PARTS, BUT I KNOW A TON OF BOW HUNTERS WHO LOVE THE W/ BISCUIT.............YD.

There are certainly some better full containment drop aways out there that do the same thing and improve arrow flight, but Lancaster archery catalog should have replacements or your local pro shop. Do yourself a favor though and check out the Schaeffer XV

We have 8 whisker biscut bows in our group they shoot perfect out as far as want to shoot....used them for years never any problems...great when stalking in heavy cover or crawling on your belley with a nocked arrow.....we always have a spare 1 of everything in our dedicated archery bag.....

I like the whisker biscuit but have a problem when shooting Quick Spin vanes they get all wrinkled up.
Any ideas

Thanks Joe

I wouldn't recommend using anything other than a straight vane with the whisker biscuit (I am sure others have different opinions). There would certainly be a significantly increased amount of drag as the vanes pass through with something like the "quick spin", potentially affecting arrow speed, accuracy and as you mentioned, increased wear and tear on the whisker biscuit itself.
