Badlands Packs Gone Bad...?

I have made several recent attempts to contact Badlands Packs (now owned by Vortex?) without success. The phone menu offers the "dial 0 to contact a real person" and then sends the caller to a voicemail account. I am pursuing a warranty repair, and feel that I am getting the cold shoulder. I actually sent an item in for assessment and replacement, and never heard from them or receive the replacement expected.

Has anyone else noticed the poor customer care now being provided? What is going on?
 
No problems for me either. I live close enough that I dropped my pack off and told me it would be done in 10 days. A few days later they called and said it was done.
 
I did get through to customer care, and it sounds as if they are dealing with my warranty issue as they should. The problem seems to be one of communication (perhaps the receptionist was out) rather than a problem with repairs.
