So do the dedicated hunters get to hunt the early and late rifle hunt?

So if your part of the dedicated hunter program you can use your tag toward the general season as well as the the limited draw tag ?

BradA, no the dedicated does not allow you to hunt the limited entry areas/hunts. Dedicated hunter is only for General Season units/hunts. The new early rifle deer hunts on a few of the general season units are not limited entry tags/hunts. The late Muzzleloader hunts on general season units are considered Limited Entry hunts, so they do not fall under the dedicated hunter program.

Yes if you are a dedicated hunter in one of the units with the new "early season" hunt you are allowed to hunt that season as well. Not every general season unit has a early season rifle hunt.

I could the fee increasing a little but I doubt service hours will increase. It's hard enough to find projects as it is.

In the past they could hunt archery, muzz,and rifle if they drew a rifle tag.
