Anyone want to share stories and/or pictures from their 12A East deer hunt? No info wanted - just want to see and hear about your stories to get me trough the next couple of months until I get my chance to experience the Kaibab with great friends and my dad.

Some of the greatest bucks I have seen have been in 12E.The biggest typ.4x4 was out on house rock,he was 220 plus!!!!!And I have taped many over 200 and a couple over 210.This was the biggest 4x4 I have ever seen and he was only 75 yards out.I was lion hunting on the loop road.I have a couple bucks over 200 that I have killed but not nearly as big as he was!!!The next biggest was on 13b and he scored 212 typ 4x4.Have seen a few big non typs also ,the biggest was 235 or so.Always buy a lion tag,I have glassed,caught with dogs and had them walk across the road.This should be a great antler growing year ,lots of rain on the BAB.My son or myself drew a 12 or 13 tag this year,one of us will be hunting big buck this fall!!!!

Thank you for sharing. I read in a couple different places that anyone with a 12 tag can purchase an OTC buffalo tag. Is that true? If so, is it the same price as the normal buffalo tag?

They have draw hunts now ,I am not sure if they have the tag along hunts any more for Buf?

I called today and AZGFD rep said that the OTC buffalo tag used to be an option for unit 12 tag holders, but not this year as of right now. She said that could change.
