Hey guys. Planning a 4-5 day hunt in unit 41. Probably going to the wilderness area to stay away from other hunters as much as possible. Is there any filterable water in this unit or do I need to carry it all in? Anyone hunted there in January? Any tips? Thanks.

Generally speaking you'll carry your own water into roadless areas in Arizona. Unsure about this area specifically. The tip I always give is to drive in as far as possible and camp there. The amount of water you need to consume (even in January) makes it tough to carry for even a one day hunt. You should be able to strike way into the roadless area before dawn. Hunter competition should be minimal for this hunt.

If you are scouting a few days in advance of hunt, Carry in water and stash it for your hunt, in several area coming and going.
Carry a water filter system because thos animals you are hunting has to drink also.
The farther you get in less other hunters will be because of carrying enough water and camp stuff.
