Youth Hunt Mistake!

Hey all,

I totaled goofed on my son's youth encouragement cow tag. His tag is actually for 6C not 6A! I haven't been in 6C in years and never this late. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We've been looking in the wrong unit and now the hunt will be on us the day after Christmas.

Any ideas?

No snow , so they are still exactly where he just said.From 289 to 280(east side of 280-6c/6a boundary)...All the way down 289....Just remember the 1st mile or two down 289 is Bandalier, once you cross over the cattle guard you get the green light...

FS 280... the elk know where the boundary is at... 2/3 days i hunted 6c They cross the road into 6A... good luck!!!

Thank you all. Looks like they're supposed to get actual snow up there this week. We're going to go have fun and look for a cooperative cow.
