I was hoping someone would be able to give me an update on the rut activity up in the northern part of the state . The long wait until January is getting harder every day. Pictures would be greatly appreciated also hahaha..

Hell, the elk have not even hit the rut yet. Lol. It was like 80 Deg in the Valle Vidal a couple weeks ago.

My 14 year old niece had a youth hunt that started on the 22nd and killed a big one super swelled up but, was alone. I have seen a few bucks chasing but with this heat they are mostly nocturnal.

She killed her buck in Pecoslavakia around the Jack's Creak area. I would post a pic but, I'm kinda dumb on figuring how to post a pic! I'll send you an email with a pic, feel free to post.
