Unit 11 Late tag

I drew a unit 11 late mule deer tag. I've hunted the unit for elk 3 times and once with a friend who had the October deer tag. I've really not paid much attention to deer/deer hunting in the unit, so if anyone has any tips, advice or information they are willing to share I would be all ears. I have no expectations for this hunt other than I'm going to work hard and have fun. I do not have access to a jet boat, I do have horses...but not sure they are worth the hassle of dragging over there that time of year. Anyways, PM's or info much appreciated.
