I finally have come to grips with missing twice at a pretty good buck on this hunt, and got it written up It was a pretty tough hunt, there was not weather to start pushing deer out of Idaho, and the rut was over long before my hunt started... We hunted hard, and had a great hunt anyway...I passed about a 160" buck with stickers, and missed on the best buck we found, a 170" buck.

I would love to hear from anyone else that had the tag this year to see if they had a different experience.

I think there were 25 other tags...I probably saw 10 of the hunters, but by the middle of the hunt I hardly saw any at all. Pretty few deer to keep them interested

Kind of sad when the quality of the hunt depends on deer coming from the another state.

But that's Oregon.

Very sad, I totally agree...There should be plenty of deer there. I cannot believe how many points it takes to hunt this hunt, but like you said, that's Oregon.
