My wife is a long distance runner, Half marathons, Marathons and 50K. She has wanted a running tattoo for a long time. Boston was so hard this year because of the weather. she ran a Boston qualifying time for next year at the hardest Boston race ever, she wanted to celebrate it. She didn't have any Tattoos so she wanted it to mean a lot to us both. We saw this shirt at a race in Grand Teton this year. It is the word Run with the antlers being the U.
She instantly liked this shirt and wanted it for a Tatt. She called a young man that we know and happens to be an artist. After talking to him for a bit I came up with an Idea. Instead of using elk antlers, I thought she should use my biggest Muzzleloader buck.
The Artist loved the idea that it meant so much to us both. So she had it done, the word RUN with My antlers being the U.
Afterward she told him she had been wanting wedding ring tattoos for us both. He said lets do this. Her Idea was fish hooks. I was on board.
We love our tattoos.
