I am sure most has seen this being talked about in the news. Other than the standard news stories haven't really come across the details and how to apply. I understand one of the requirements is being able to hike 8 mile a day with a 60 pound pack not sure how they test that but indicates that maybe its just not a "fish in the barrel" shoot but a real hunt....

Sculpting a Bison now....and really fascinated by them...never thought I would ever get a chance to hunt them maybe this is the chance???????

Dang, you've done a great job on your sculpture. I hope you get your chance to hunt one. With your apparent passion, you've earned an opportunity.

What are the dimensions of the bison your sculpting.

Thanks guys...usually it is the other way around....I hunt either once...(Mountain goat...Bighorn Ibex) and can't wait to sculpt them and can't stop ...or animals I have hunted my whole life...deer elk...pronghorn....etc..... This is the opposite...doing a commission for a guy and you really delve into an animal...now I really...really want to hunt them and maybe this is the chance....

Lumpy it is about 17 inches long and once it is done bronze...and will be on a walnut and hammered copper base....will be about 18 inches high...limited edition and offered at a Pre-cast discount price before its done....which should be within 2 months...

Was able to dig deeper...they are still working out the detail and don't have a application process yet....gotta feeling the animal rights people are going to make this in a ##### storm.... sure would love to hunt them dn the Grand Canyon an incredible backdrop...
