Stands

Elksniper, I use my tripmeter and do a 1/4 mile between stands in Heavy cover ie. Pinon/Juniper hilly type terrain and a 1/2 mile in open flat country like down South where cover is scarce.

It finally feels like Winter has arrived this past weekend I got snow at my place and the temps have plummeted...I hope to make plans with someone and get out there soon and see if there are any Yodel dogs left to kill, I just enjoy it more when its cold and the Dogs are hungry and struggling to survive....

How about you?? sounds like you are ready to hit it since you finished filling your freezers...

Looks like fun.

I have not been out yet. I have a new 22-250 itching for some coyote action.

We finally got some good snow storms up north. I wanted to go with a buddy of mine this last weekend but the weather did not let us. (too windy and blizzard like conditions)

Not sure when I will go. I probably won't go until after the holidays due to being out of town.

I missed a big male coyote earlier in the year on a deer hunt. Shot right over him. Other than messing with the local neighborhood coyotes I have not been out. The other night I saw 3 of them together.
