    Camera found on AZ Strip

Just a suggestion. You might check and see if the photos have a location tag. If so, it might help narrow down where the owner lives.

"He said he can't find the bulls if he can't hear them bugle." How about hunting as if it's not the rut? Look!

    Easy Access Camping?

89A goes out of Flagstaff to Sedona via Oak Creek Canyon. The first 8 miles or so is up at 7000 ft elevation then drops down thru "switchbacks" into Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona. Normally (unless fire danger gets extremely high) the Coconino NF is open to dispersed camping with no permit or...

Waiting to hear from AZ G&F Director Larry Voyles

I may be wrong, but I consider scouting with a license part of hunting. In any case, I put a small .22 pistol in my pocket and hunt rabbits ;) >Your right Don, as long as >your hunting. > >If you have a hunting license >in your pocket and your >just out scouting, not hunting, >then your...

    Received a Citation !!!!

The citation is public record as soon as it is issued. It will be adjudicated in a court, then if found guilty the Commission might take up the question of loss of privileges. I'd be interested in knowing who the issuing officer was.

Big Threat to Average Joes in Arizona

"non-club members wouldn't be impacted" Sorry, I have my doubts about that. Take the proposal for early access to draw results for club members. Doe that mean that they will just withhold the results beyond when they are finished with the process for the scum that don't belong to the club...

The odds for elk just went up....

This year will be interesting for G&F. The tag, license, and application fees that were put in as part of the "license simplification" process will put a strain on some folks. I spoke at the Commission meeting when they approved these new fees. I said they had just priced me out of turkey...

Lets revisit the Kaibab National Monument issue!

Very perceptive Don. As you and most others well know, it was in the last days of the Clinton administration that he and Bruce Babbitt designated the Parashant, Ironwood, etc. national monuments in AZ. Bruce

    HB-2072 officially "dead"!

    > >OK Chef, I'll ask you, "who >is going to defend sportsmen >and wildlife downtown at the >Legislature? > >Don Martin Well, I wont pretend to speak for Chef, he does a good job on his own, but it appears to me that a "vocal, over our heads, unfunded, disorganized, etc., etc. minority" did...

    HB-2072 officially "dead"!

    >FYI guys, I confirmed with yet >another person in the know >about this. Yep its done... > Sort of like when bonuspointjohn said on another forum on January 13th "Evidently a man's word is not worth much here. For those conspiracy theorists, the BLACK helicopter squads, and .... the...

    HB-2072 officially "dead"!

Well, that would certainly be good news....but, is this the same Pete C. that wrote the letter a few weeks ago saying "Kill HB 2072" then continued to advocate for the "concept" which was being pushed while we all knew that the number "2072" was already dead? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me...

AZSFW Latest Tactic and ADA and AAF Positions

LAST EDITED ON Mar-15-12 AT 11:56AM (MST)[p]Last night at the ADBSS meeting, it was clear that the Board was unanimously against HB2072. Good for them! Pete Cimellaro and Floyd Green were there pushing ADBSS to "agree with the concept". ADBSS did not bite. This is clearly the tactic now...
