Private property is pretty tuff to get on in those units. Outfitters lease up the majority of it, and the rest is Southern Ute reservation. I've hunted the unit several times, there is some decent public ground, but thats where the majority of the hunters are. There is a big ranch, I believe...

To me, the biggest factor is the reset of the season dates. There is alot of people that wait for that. Thats the main reason I burned my points last year, on a better unit, that there would have been no way in hell to draw this year.

I have nightforce, swarovski, vortex and leupold, I will for sure check out the new swaro, mainly because it is the best hunting glass you can buy! But from the bench my NF nxs is fantastic!And plenty of moa to shoot to a mile!!!!

A shot is too long if you second guess yourself while deciding if you can make the shot a fatal one! Just my 2 cents !

Damn nice Idaho bull, What is the magical mark you refer too? This bull looks like a 350-360 bull. Very nice!!!! 350 bulls are big! And rare!!!!
