Yeah that part I know. Was just wondering if they open an hour or so before shooting time or how that works. Dad took his first day last year so didn't go back for the second day. So never got the chance to see.

Just wondering if any one knows. What times the gate usually opens on sat morning?

Does any know if we will be allowed to hunt on Fri. Last email I got 9/21 says we won't be able to hunt on Fri as of then. Anyone hear other wise?

Looked at their web site. They don't have 16A listed as one of the units they guide in.

So my dad and I drew this hunt this year. This is our second year as MI hunters and haven't hunted 16A in years. I grew up hunting in this unit but it has been at least 15-20 years since we have hunted this unit. Plan on going down a couple times before the hunt starts to see the fire damage...

Took this elk the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Was a good hunt got on bulls everyday. Had a chance at a little bigger one on opening day but some times the muzzleloaders don't go off and it don't help when you forget to put the primer in. Thought I had blown the only chance I was going to...
