There is access on the trail above the Bavarian. However there is a designated parking just prior to the Bavarian. 2mi. Hike to Williams lake. Squats will help. You are correct it is a busy time of year for that trail. I would keep going over to the other side of wheeler. Perhaps get picked up...
my wife's first big game animal is finally displayed on the wall. Her and I worked hard for this one. There is just something special about a lady that will follow you up and down mountains just to catch a glimpse and maybe a chance to harvest these elusive creatures. I love my hunting partner...
i have found four years worth of left sides off this buck and yesterday i finaly stumbled upon last years right side. this is last years set. i would love to find this years sheds just to verify that he is alive. guess i keep looking for the other three right sides....dang!
i love shed hunting. i dont always find mass quantities of antler but i always am fortunate to find. went out on short walks 2 afternoons in a row now. both times i found a lone shed and a three point at that. i just think it is magical how all summer they grow. the entire fall they outwit most...
The game cam picture was taken in new Mexico...just found it interesting how deer so far apart can share similar features. The two buck are far from being twins but I bet if you had them both on the wall they could pass as related. Hope the NM buck looks some thing like your trophy this hunting...
Steep country for sure as stated above. Lived in 53 my whole life and like to think if u could hunt here u could hunt anywhere. Lots of road hunters ....just the way I like it. I have had good luck and worked my tail off to get chances @ bulls but it don't always pan out.Good luck. Hope you...
