Southern Unit General Season Deer Voucher?

LAST EDITED ON Aug-25-11 AT 01:18PM (MST)[p]Simple question for you to contemplate. How much would a General season Rifle deer tag for the Southern Utah Unit be worth to you. Hypothetically, realizing that you did not draw a deer tag of any nature in the general draw and you had to make your...

    50 MILE IN UTAH

The buck of justice came from near the 50 mile mtn, but not from the 50 mile mtn itself. There are only a handful of people that know where he was taken from exactly and it would have been a sheep hunter that found him if you follow my drift. The Escalante tag would be right.

    FIGHTING MYSELF ON ISSUE

Longshooter I would have to agree that you have said to much! Seems to me way to much. There are holes in your story that I could drive a pickup through. Maybe you should get picked up for wildlife harassment. Or for interfering with a legal hunt. Where is your proof that this cousin of...

    Tire Chains

I understand what chains are used for. They are for the ultimate traction possible. Therefore they are used in the most adverse conditions that your vehicle is capable of handling(traction wise). I have seen unbelievable things happen with them on and have used them many times. What I am...

    Tire Chains

Using chains on the front tires of a late model chevy have nothing to do with clearance. They are not recommended because of the independent front suspension and CV Shafts. Any vehicle with this design of front suspension is not recommended to be used with tire chains. you run the risk of...

Npaden, Hey thats great information. Thanks. How heavy do you think your heaviest load was? Did the loaded pack seem like it shifted weight and trow you around when you were hiking? The biggest concern that I had is what someone told me about their experience. They said that the load felt...

    desert land and livestock views

I don't mean to be so ignorant, but just where is Monte Cristo and the Deseret Ranch? This is the first time that I have ever heard of it.

    Your opinion please.

I'm guessing that your estimation is conservative. This buck in my opinion is probably in the 27-28 inch outside spread region and in the 175 to 185 ballpark. Its tough to guess exactly with the photos, but I wouldn't hesitate getting a closer look if ya know what I'm sayin'.

    TC Encore

If it were me I would buy the Endeavor. The 4 extra inches are a great asset. Especially with the 25-06 where slow burning powders are used. 4 inches can increase your velocity by as much as 150 FPS in the 25-06. The weight difference will be minimal especially in the encore platform because...

There are a few things that I like about this pack. The gun holster is nice. Even when archery hunting it can be used for my tripod if I want. The side pockets are large enough for a full sized spotting scope. The main compartment is big enough to be worth something. However the pack is...
