It's not the silver state tag it is the "dream tag" I'm not sure but I think he can hunt any open season like the PIW tag not august 1 threw December 31sto like the silver state tag and heritage tag. Still a great tag to have!

What are the season dates for this tag? If it's the dream tag it's not the same as the governors/heritage tag. I think it is more like the PIW tag.

Is he looking to be guided or just info about a buck?

Does he want velvet or hard horned? How high of scoring deer would he take?

it's been awhile since we hunted there but most of the big rams we saw were high on Jefferson as well. we saw several 160 type rams and one 170+ ram. we hunted alot near meadow canyon and glassed the high stuff from there.

did you get your buck officially scored? that was one of my favorite bucks of the year

same area you killed your giant buck in will have bulls also around Barclay and acoma. from Crestline to the Stateline along the track is also good. tough hunt not many elk just depends on the year.

No I wasn't guided. I've lived in the unit my whole life and know the unit as well as anyone. I do hear great things about timberline. Brian do I know you? Where are you from.
