Get some good shooting bags, a muzzle break and invest in good hearing protection.

honestly I do not think that a muzzle break will reduce enough recoil on a 270 for a 10 year old to shoot it, I think that it would cause some flinching issues. a suppressor would probably be the best option they make a huge difference in my opinion both for recoil and noise. and like you said...
