Really depends on where in the area you're planning on hunting....most of the area is not too bad when wet, but ANYWHERE around the Tri Territory area, sand dunes, Steamboat mountain...are going to get nasty fast, takes a bit to dry out too. The main road is actually the worst around there...

My wife hunts with me, both rifle and bow seasons, she doesn't really like rifle hunting, so most emphasis is put on bow season. She has been bow hunting for eight years and has yet to take an animal, she is a real trooper. I do hunt "easier" when she's with me, but easier is a relative term...

Tracker, I just recently bought the one for Wyoming for my Etrex 30, I absolutely love it!! IMO it is definately worth the money, gives all the info about landowners for private land, so if you want to contact them about hunting permission, etc. Also has all current recognized roads, trails...

DRT, I have had that tag a few times, I actually live here, and with tons of time to scout, and knowing the area very well, it's still tough to find the "big ones". There are some true humdingers, have even seen a few this year that will score well, but for me personally, it's tough to give up...

New "Bone Collector" call, named the "Bootie Call", bought it at Wal Mart for about 8 bucks, tried it out, it has awesome range, can do about any kind of cow sound you want, and it's relatively small. It works really well, could just be that it's new to the market, and hasn't been overused...
