We did tape him out but far from experts with scoring. We came up with 339. He was pretty narrow and lacked mass. We all thought he would break 350 but he still looks awesome

These same thoughts have been running through my head all summer. I can't picture deer wanting to move further south when the highs are in the 70s still but people I keep hearing they do!

Thanks for the reply. I didn't even realize they were rotating the hunt until after we drew the tag. I have heard they travel quite a bit during the time of the muzzy season tag this year. appreciate the input sagebucks.

Anybody else out there hunted this unit? Not looking for spots really just general input on the unit. Maybe a pic of a 16 bull?? Anything?

Glass the shade for bedded bucks. You won't see many bucks up feeding during the archery season in this unit. 90% of the deer I have spotted in 24 where bedded or jumped from their bed.

So I am hunting a pretty low deserty area around 6500ft and we think we know a water source a particular group of bucks are using. Sitting the water is not an option (watering in the dark) but we think we have there travel route figured out and they don't make it to cover before it gets light...

I'm in the same boat.. Looking for a new pack and can't decide between the Badlands 2200 and the Horn Hunter Main Beam. I like the price of the Main Beam better and it seams to have all the same features as the 2200 but with a little more room. I think it's 2600 or so?? Has anybody out there...

Wayner What changed on the main beam pack from the older one to the newer version? From what I could tell on pictures it looks like the hip straps might be different and there are some loops added to the back. Does it carry a bow pretty well? Thanks for the response.
