Great time on my daughters first ever big game hunt. She connected with a muzzleloader and I got one with a bow.

First big game animal. Couldn't be prouder of how she handled it all; packing, practicing with muzzleloader, waiting with bugs etc...One shot 30 yards.

Just got the call a Wasatch tag was turned in. I put in with a great mentor that has helped me a ton to help him have hopefully a chance at a bull of a lifetime. He has killed lots of elk, but is a meat hunter so it will be fun to see him have a crack at a nice bull while he can still get up...

Why does Utah have to end their archery seasons so early? They headed in the right direction last year going to the 18th, then shorten back to the 14th this year. I'm up to 11 nr points and don't want to have to only hunt elk in velvet and just sit water the entire hunt when I finally draw a tag.
