The wife and I got it done. She got hers opening day and I got mine the next. It was a nasty opening day only being able to see 100 yards or less. My wife is a badass helped me pack my buck out 4 miles in 6 inches of snow.

Well this has to be the coolest hunt I have ever done. We seen 180 bulls in 5 days. This was not the biggest one we seen but there was a lot of pressure and hard to get on anything. This one has some great character thanks to the help of my good friends Tim Breck and Mitch Olsen for all there help.

Well it's been 21 years since I have drawn a tag. It finally paid off I drew a drew a December bull tag in 46 I couldn't be more stoked right now good luck to everyone.

I thought I would share some pics,I think Schiermeier Taxidermy did an excellent job and thanks to my good friend Mitch Olsen for the pedestal they bothdid an awesome job.

Not a bad day out on the ice, a little on the chilly side but well worth it we caught at least 150 perch and 5 rainbows.

Just wondering if anyone has been doing any steelhead fishing on the Boise river lately and if so any luck. I thought about taking a trip over there and try my luck.

I guess there is no need to keep putting in for the draws unit here in Idaho if I keep getting good bucks in open units. I don't think my boy Remington knows what to think about the deer.

I went to the bucks and bulls banquet last night and got 2nd place in the mule deer rifle division.They go by gross score and mine was 213 7/8,first place was 223 1/8.There was some nice animals taken.This is me and my cousin after the banquet.Now time for the taxi...

A guy from work got this one 2 days before i got mine in the same unit a couple miles apart.I think they might have the same daddy.

I shot this deer in a open hunt here in Idaho its got 44 inches of mass and 31 1/2 wide dressed out at 182 lbs.

This my 2009 general Id.deer tag thought he was rather cool looking so i took it.Its my most unique deer I've ever taken.He has a 2inch tip to tip spread.

not bad for 3hrs of fishing.We hooked 10 and landed 6,the smallest was 5'2" the biggest was 8'1".I hooked one and fought it for 45 mins before it came off,we never did get to see that one.Enjoy
