    My First Deer

    I just started deer hunting 4 years ago at age 46. This year I turned 50 and got my first desert deer. He is no Monster Muley but it sure made my day. I got him about 110 yards out perfect double lung shot he dropped less than 20' from where I hit him. We will be eating venison this year.

    44A Help

    Anyone been successful in 44A the last couple years? I've logged over 500 miles all over the Salome, Wenden and Aguila areas, Mostly around the Harkavar Mountains and Sorefinger road area and have yet to spot even a doe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Alamo Lake Elk???????

    Are there REALLY any Elk around Alamo Lake? Seems to me they are the jackalope of Alamo. I've spent over $500 in fule and 30-40 hours hiking and scouting and still have not found any positive proof Elk exist in this area. Any advise would be greatly appreciated
