LOL! Great advice. I wont use their stand or blind but will beat them to the waterhole in the morning. I know I would be pissed if I had a blind setup and I get there and a hunter is sitting in it.

I was there on Monday. I talked to some hunters and they said an Outfitter placed blinds and tree stand on every water hole and is not using them every day. What do you guys think about this? I think if they are not going to hunt it that day they should take it down. What are the hunting Ethics...

That's what I figured Gator. I think I know where they are bedding. I will move my trail cam to a close by trail between the water hole and the bedding area to see what time they pass. This bull showed up closer to midnight.

We went scouting this last weekend and did not hear a single bugle. I have the second archery hunt and am trying to see if the Rut is going to be at the normal time this year.

Just got a nice Cow Elk Decoy. Anyone have any tips on hunting with Elk Decoys? Like how far behind you, do you set it up? Do you use Scents? Is it best to set them up by water holes? and what time of day is best to use them? I know everyone has opinions just looking for the ones that have used...

Finally got a chance to check out the New Store that opened in Albuquerque. Awsome!! Huge!! I could have stayed there all day. They have any thing you need for hunting for about the same price as cabelas without the shipping. I recomend checking it out!!

Thanks HundingAddict I was starting to wonder if I posted this in the wrong section!! Ive hunted this same area for 20 Years. Its not just about Killing a trophy its about making it so there is a trophy for our Kids and their Kids and so on.

No Way thats Illigel. The deer in this area have real skinny, small horns. I also heard to feed them Soy beans. I heard August because they graze more at that time.

I finally got around to building a Deer Feeder and plan to put it out this Year In NM for Muleys. Does anyone know the best time to put out a feeder and what feed to use? I heard corn is good. and to put it out in August. What do you Guys think?
