    Nice Montana Buck

This is a nice buck that I shot last Sunday, 11-11-12 while hunting with my brother in Montana. I took full advantage of the Nonresident Montana Native license and got to hunt mule deer for the first time in six years since I moved to Wisconsin. This is my best scoring buck to date at just a...

Big gnarly old Colorado 3-point from the 60's

The buck is currently just over 26" wide. When my dad shot him, he was over 30" but because he was in velvet he shrunk a lot. The mass right below his fork is just really impressive. It was an early season rifle hunt in about 1967 or so when my dad shot this buck.

My dad shot this buck back the late 1960's in Colorado. My brother just recently found the rack in one of his sheds. Pretty damn impressive buck. He was in velvet when he was shot.

The first two pics were in Eastern Montana in the 50's. My uncle killed the second buck, the crazy cactus buck. The last buck my dad killed in Colorado with an iron sights .30-06 around 1964 or so. I saw the antlers from the last buck about 15 years ago, without the velvet of course, and it is...

    Montana 2010 Success

Thanks Joey! Sadly I did not get the chance to get back to Montana to hunt this year. I live out here in Wisconsin now and can only afford to go out every other year. My family and friends like to torment me with pics and stories galore. Next year! Always next year.

    Big Montana Antelope

Just got home from a nice antelope hunt in Montana with my dad. I didn't draw a buck tag so I settled for a doe tag. Made a nice stalk and hit her with a double lung shot and she hit the dirt very quickly. Nice doe. Was good to get back out west and do some real hunting again. Been too long.

    Big Montana Bull 380

Yeah, Branden, stop in at the store and see him. I am sure he would show them to you, if he doesn't have them there already. Hard to say with him. I'm coming out in three weeks to go hunting with my dad over on the forest, we should meet up at some point.
