    Freezing meat before processing

Thanks for the help, I was worried most about it changing the taste or texture of the meat too much, but sounds like i should be ok.

    Freezing meat before processing

I am starting to get into processing my own meat this year and have a question. I have 2 antelope boned out in coolers with ice right now, will it affect the meat much if I freeze and process it in a couple weeks when I get back from my Colorado deer hunt? I am still buying the rest of the...

    Paunsaugunt Archery

My good friend drew this tag this year, he had some family issues come up and looks like he may not get a chance to go down and scout the area before the hunt. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help us out with some starting points on the unit, certainly don't need any secret...

    Canon S95

Anyone used this camera much? Looking to buy a new camera and heard some good things about the canon S95. Have always had and loved canon's but looking at a panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 also, look comparable but I'm certainly no expert by any means. Thanks for any help.

    BH209 and accura breech plug

I just bought a new CVA Accura and will be shooting BH209 , with barnes t-ez's, and cci 209m primers. I thought I remember reading somewhere that you should drill out the breech plug hole bigger with a #65 drill bit. Has anyone done this or heard of it?

    NEW Eastmans Journal!

Eastmans puts out a great magazine even if it shows up late. I'm glad to have the opportunity to share my story and was pleasanlty surprised to see it show up in this issue. They are great guys and give the normal guys the chance to share their stories, not just a magazine full of guided hunts...

    Whats the law?

If he is going to hunt coyotes in idaho he has to buy a hunting license or a non-game license. If he has the hunting license I see nothing illegal with him having a gun also.

    Pahvant late hunt

There's no such thing as a bad hunt on the Pahvant, the late hunt is tougher though. I had 2 friends draw that tag in 2006, both took bulls, a 317 and a 340. We didn't have a hard time finding bulls, just bulls that were big enough. My advice would be to get in shape! Those bulls can live in...

Theyh're not doing good at all

I will post contact info when available. Dont know who to contact at the DWR, my info came from the boys in charge at SFW who have talked with the DWR. The DWR has quite the criteria to meet before they will feed(obviously). At least there are concerned sportsman who are willing to take a stand...

Theyh're not doing good at all

The DWR said they will start feeding Monday after they see what these storms do. They alredy have the feed ready to go and some feed locations identified, they will just need the manpower to help. As a sidenote, the Davis/Weber county chapter of SFW has asked the DWR several times if we can help...
