What are your thoughts for the best OTC Archery Elk hunts in the South Central or Southeast units of Idaho? Hunt is for three-four seasoned hunters not afraid of doing some hiking to get into some bulls. Thanks, SpikeCamp

They have targets setup but you can also bring your own if you want. It isn't a bad range but you do have to stop in at the office and pay the normal range fee to use it each time.

I just got a German Wirehair Pointer and is a great family dog and is showing signs of producing in the field. She is great around other dogs, friends, family and loves to play. Best dog I have ever had.

I appreciate all of your responses on this and helping to make his trip a reality. We would be leaning more towards DIY and setting up a base camp and possibly spike in somewhere. We may have access to horses if we have another gentleman join us on the hunt otherwise we would be backpacking...
