Its a good hunt, you just have to put in the work like everyone else. The lion hunters have just as much right to be there as the elk hunters on that hunt.

For some reason I find myself taking most of my pictures of landscape and clouds. Here are a few recent shots. The last picture is of the famous camel rock in NM. Had a beautiful sunset but I didnt have my camera with me and couldnt pass up the view so I used my phone hence it being grainy.

Nice picture of that lion bud!I do my share of looking at lions but have never had the opportunity to see one like this without a group of hounds trailing it.

thank you guys, I will definitely scout those areas. Is it possible to stick a 400 class or are my sights set a little to high for this unit?

lol yea thats right. we plan on going scouting a couple of times before the hunts start to get an idea of the areas so we will be sure to check those places. Pecos deer? I have never been to that area but have had some cousins hunt that area and I believe from what they have told me they saw...
