You can hunt in January, if you kill one in January you cannot put in for the fall hunt. If you don't get one in January you can put in for the fall draw. Did that answer your question

you can call the DOW and bother them about the draw now, they can't tell you if you drew your second choice but they can tell if you drew your first choice deer
