13B Archery Guides

Guys,

Just found out I drew 13B archery NR with one less than max pts. I am stoked to say the least. Since I live in PA I will hire an outfitter for this coveted tag as it is once in my lifetime. I got a couple good references on outfitters but wanted more suggestions. I know I need to book quickly before the best ones are filled. Any help would be appreciated. This is only my 2nd tag in 13 yrs of applying in AZ and 12 yrs in NV.

Congrats on the tag. I would call Matt Schimberg with Arizona Strip Bucks. I hunted with him last year and had a great hunt.

I hunted with Matt Schimberg (arizonastripbucks.com) last year also. An extremely hard working guy. All of his guides are great and I doubt that anybody spends more time up there than him. All three guys in camp scored on 200+ bucks with the biggest being almost 240. Awesome hunt, you should have fun. Wish I could hunt there again.

Yes, there are number of quality guide/outfitters that work on the Arizona Strip. Those noted here are good guys, no doubt.

The difference is that not everyone can afford a hunt that cost $5-6-7-8 thousand dollars or more!

We all have a lot of history on the Strip; do the needed preseason scouting, have trail cameras out and have extra guys who are veterans of past Strip hunts who help out each fall.

So if price is an issue, and for some this year it is no doubt that it will be, might want to give us a call. Our price is for a fully outfitted and guided 10-day hunt, with no short cuts!

We sure aren't the highest priced guides up there, but we offer quality hunts at affordable prices.

Here is an example of one guy who didn't pay a ton for his Strip deer hunt and yet got a true buck of a lifetime! This buck was taken by Tony Keller on a rifle hunt in 2010. Anyone that doesn't think this isn't a quality buck is nuts! And he sure didn't pay a ton for the hunt!

Proof is in the pudding. Some of these true strip specialists have 20 big bucks to every one of the other guys. Im sorry but if I were to hire a guide for the strip it would take more than one pic of a big buck. Some of them might be twice the price but that's cuz they spend twice the time up there.

Proof is in the pudding! Show me a group of guys that has killed bigger bucks in the last few years than AZSB and I'll show you a liar! It's a no brainer, not just an opinion but a fact.

It's too bad that you're outta luck with AZSB, they've been booked solid for quite awhile, telling ya something there.
