I have used basemap on several hunts. It has been awesome. Used the saved map feature when there was no cell service. Worked great. You get the whole US for $30. OnX should be very nervous

Why can't they sell "catch" tags. I know tons of cowboys that would love to go out and rope a mustang. They then could keep them, take them to the sale, whatever. This would keep with the whole "spirit of the west" concept that the horse lovers are spouting. The revenue generated from tag sales...

I have had great results with them out of my 270. all on deer though. I use the 130 grain and have shot 4 bucks from 250 to 400 yards. all 4 tipped right over with one shot. oakbrush

Yes, I saw bulls herding cows and bugling like crazy on my utah late rifle tag in November.

Actually you can hunt in several national monuments. Like the Grand staircase for example. But yeah not good. It is funny, but these outdoor retailers pushing for it are right. Seems as soon as it is a national monument, then all the granolas want to go there. Idiots could have been going and...

I grew up hunting down there. People just don't realize how big an accomplishment that is on public land. I have lived in Utah the last 21 years, but still have friends that hunt down there and would be very happy to have a chance at a good forky like that. Congrats oakbrush

Funny. If this was a whitetail, nobody would give a sh!t. Monster whiteys are taken over food that hunters put there or planted to bring em in all the time. They even have tv shows showing you how to do it. Kill a big muley that way and everybody cries foul. You guys are nuts.

I have one one the wall that looks very similar to that one. It goes 375.

90 grains triple 7 loose powder, 250 grain shockwave in the black sabot, not the yellow 'easy glide' sabots. CCI 209M primer. swab with one wet patch, then follow with one dry patch between shots. This combo is very accurate in my .50 omega. oakbrush
