Looking for some advice. I ended up drawing the 12b west muzzleloader tag this year, with 7 points not really thinking I would get the tag. But, I knew this year was going to be a good year to burn up some points in hopes of shooting a nice deer. Muzzleloader hunting is new to me as I mostly archery hunt and everything north of central of Arizona is new to me. I understand how the hunt works with migration and how most deer that I will end up seeing aren't necessarily there right now. The biggest issue is, it is almost an 8 hour drive for me to get there and with unforeseen future events I will most likely only be able to get up there and scout around once before the hunt. I've spent many hours on google earth, onxmaps, and gohunt trying to obtain as much information as possible, but I wanted to know from others what general areas should I get to know before hand. Any tips, tricks, or pieces of advice are greatly appreciated.
