here is my 2010 bull. after countless days bowhunting success was not looking possible. the wolves have the elk to where they wont talk at all. seen lots of bears and wolves. finally rifle season rolled around and was looking the same as archery season. there was very low movement and the elk were staying in the trees. with my last week in the general season i spotted this boy 2 miles away with 12 cows. i tagged this boy at 450 yard shot with the 300 mag. . one shot he dropped. he fell on a hill side and laid there got up and rolled into a draw and expired. i worked hard for this bull. being 15 miles in the back country the real hard work started. quartered him and spent rest of day packing out.
not the biggest bull in the woods but it put meat in the freezer and its been great.
