I can't believe some of the tags that people didn't purchase!

I don't buy it !! why is it that every year there is always less than 3 PREMIUM TAGS bought before the deadline ??? & how much 2nd chance $$ is F&G going to get from these so called un purchased tags ??? like 22 1720 people put in this year for 54 tags & ONE & ONLY ONE person just FORGOT to go get it !! yeah right unit 40 4681 people for 1st choice & 3 people Forgot again !! BULL CHEET

I always try for a tag but I know they must be invisible because I have never heard of anyone getting a 2nd chance tag before

I like the second draw, but of course, I have drawn the single tag available in the hunt the last two years (50:1 odds too). An antelope and a late bull elk.

We all know the odds. Yet we still choose to play. If you don't, take pleasure in knowing that all us suckers are donating to IDFG. Better them than DC.

Yep ^^ a guy on here killed a 350 last year on a second chance bull tag he drew, and it wasn't in one of the coveted trophy units.

I bet he's glad he isn't dumb enough to actually think F&G would try to pitch non existent tags...

IDFG is not an actual state game agency but a giant conspiracy put in place to destroy our deer and elk herds and take our money. Gosh, don't you know anything twsnow. I actually thought it seemed very odd that there were no leftover tags for 39 deer. It seems there are always several of those left over. Does seem there are a few more 40 and 45 leftovers than normal maybe the 9 to 11 year olds forgot to go pick up their tags

LAST EDITED ON Aug-06-14 AT 07:34AM (MST)[p]the way the second draw (not leftover) went this year im not surprised there are not a lot of tags left over. since you didnt have to put in for the second tag, a lot of guys probably didnt know they drew on that second drawing. I know 1 guy that went to pick up his general tag and they told him then that he drew a tag. it happens! and believe it or not, most guys arent into hunting like most of us are here.

They changed the 39 deer tag to OTC for leftovers instead of being in the second draw.

i dont think it was on that list either Bryan. i dont believe any conspiracy but thought that was strange there was none left over.

Oh. I didn't see the list. Any LO 39 early deer tags should be on that list.

Unit 39 quota was filled due to the "rain checks" from last year's fire restrictions.
