My 15 year old and I drew two doe antelope tags each this year and did our traditional camp on a friend's ranch in late October.
An evening camp fire. A boy and his dog. Best buds.
A couple about to skin and bone.
Doing what labs love to do.
As a part of the tradition, catch and cook up a few crawdads for a feast.
Pic from in front of the camper. Last morning and the boy had one tag left to fill. Walked out and there was a lone doe standing 40 yards or so to the right of the big bush below the road. That was easy!
As always, a good experience. A couple of antelope in our freezer and one each for a couple of adult daughters/sisters and their families.
