Hello Everyone,
My dad has a 241-245 rifle deer tag this year. We understand it's a down year for the unit with the drought, but this isn't a tag we dare turn back with the odds the way they are! This is basically a one-in-a-lifetime tag, so we are going to give it our best shot!
We plan on scouting the next two weekends, and hunting as much as possible during the season. It sounds like there aren't many deer in the unit, but it has the potential of producing nice bucks. It also sounds like some deer may move in from Utah during the last week of the season into unit 242. Should we count on more deer moving in? Or is that hit or miss?
If anyone else has any insights on it, we would greatly appreciate it! Happy to reciprocate any knowledge we have in other states/units we have hunted before.
Thanks
