Well first of all i have to say thanks to my dad aka "The Broker" here on monster muleys for always teaching me how to be a good hunter. And that major payoffs come to those who work hard, For those of you that read all of his road hunting stories and all his other stuff, i just want you to know that "The Broker" is one hell of a good hunter, with two Cracked ribs and a busted nut, he still made two packs over a mile and a half with a quarter of bull on his back both times. But his road hunting stories are all true, who wants to shot a cow elk some where you cant take her out whole anyways.
Now as for the bull, this is my first bull i have ever killed, i have been hunting for ten years, and just havn't been able to seal the deal, with football, and college baseball, always in the fall i just always had a hard time finding enough time to get out. but on sunday this bull decided he wanted to fulfill all my dreams when he came screaming in at my dads bugling, and at twenty yards the 7mm did the trick. We hunted hard all day saturday, we were rained on the whole time, hiked our guts out and were out smarted buy bulls all day, 4 different times we had saftys off fallowing bulls in our scopes as the ran through the lodge pulls, put we could never get a shot, for those of you that know the uintas you have all probable been faced with that challenge. I have been fortunate enough over the years to go on alot of very succesfull hunts and i have been able to take alot of nice bucks, and bears, and elk, but this was by far the funniest hunt i have ever been apart of!! Now i look forward to getting back in the woods to chase a bull down for the old man!!
