I am helping out my uncle (In-laws) on this hunt as well, your best bet with a mobility challenged hunter is to stay in the Canelo hills area or lower drainages, not as steep and brushy as the Patagonia Mountains, the deer are usually lower in their range this time of year and will move up the mountain as the weather cools and the rut approaches, hunting pressure will move them higher as well, find yourself a good saddle or lookout point between north/south and east/west slopes and glass until your eyeballs hurt. If you can, buy the latest printing of the district Forest service map it will show you many good roads and trails in the area and private land as well. This unit is relatively small compared to alot of units and with 400 hunters moving around, there will be competition in the easier to hunt spots. Success for this unit is below average as well.
Good luck to you and your wife!
