Elk damage resolution in the Chehalis River Basin.
A) Trap and translocate summer resident elk where damage occurs.
B) Fence farms where damage is occurring.
C) WDFW enforcement officers kill summer resident elk and provide meat to charity
Yeah wasn't that something! I had to pick "B" as the other two make no sense whatsoever. I should have commented that landowners should pay for this fencing themselves, and not expect the state to take care of it at the taxpayer's expense. The elk were there in the Chehalis valley long before the farmers.
That question had me laughing too. Seems like alot of the questions are repeats, we'll see what ends up shaking out of all this. I just hope they keep science in mind as well as popular opinions......
