Antelope scoring

I just got my antelope back from the taxi. So what the heck, I score it from the B&C sheets. The 1st 2 measurements are tip to tip width & inside spread but it's not added into the score. Why even have it if it don't add in? Not a monster but a nice animal that hit 65.

I believe it is for identification purposes.

Glen is exactly right. It is for a general description of the trophy and identification. With a completed score chart, you would have a really tough time finding another to match all dimensions.
