Thanks for the input, but if hunting was about money for me, I'd still be a guide. Finders fees and guide services have their place, but they also perpetuate the expo tags and the crews of 10 spotters and road blockers to allow the fat cats to put more bone on their walls. I had a few great friends help me on my hunt last year and had lots of tips from guys on this forum. With all that, it still took me a month to find and kill a great bull. Wouldn't trade that for anything. I'd rather see someone put in the work to learn the area, find the bull, get in close enough for a shot and haul it off on their own. That's what makes it a hunt, not just a kill. When i look at my bull I don't just see a 52" moose, I think of all the blood, sweat and tears (and fuel...) as well as all the other critters and experiences that I had. I'd like to help someone else have the same thing.
