archery elk with crossbow

Is it leagal to hunt elk with cross bow if you have a handycap ? i was told it was not leagal saw quite a few people on my archery elk hunt with them so i was just wondering ?

You have to have a crossbow permit from G&F for it to be legal. You have to get a Dr. to fill out the application with your disability and sign off on it, then you take it to G&F.
