Austin bullet choice?

I know they are out of business but just checking to see if anyone has an Austin/Halleck and what they use for bullet?? I have tried PB's and then attempted to use Barnes Spitfires but couldn't get them to push down barrel (Too Tight). Any info would be appreciated.

I use 3,50 grain pellets with 250 grain barnes tmz, they shoot great

Me, my dad and my brother all have austins and shoot the 348 gr powerbelt on top of 100 gr of 777 with excellent accuracy. Both me and my brother killed bull elk this season with that load, my brothers bull was at 180 yds.

I have shot the barnes MZ and the polymer tip MZ (TMZ ??) on top of 110 grs of 777 with EXCELLENT accuracy but did not like how hard it loaded.

The dead centers sabots have shot well from my gun as well but once again they loaded hard.

After trying all those loads I have went back to the PB 348 gr and never looked back, probably shot 600 or so rounds in the past 3-4 yrs

I use the power belt 295 or 348 with 150 gr 777. Works great. Can shoot 200 yards holding dead on. Loads easy.
