We did a little scouting for my son's limited opp elk hunt and found a bull that will do if we cant find anything better. If a 12 yr old can kill a 320+ bull in velvet on a limited opp hunt its not all bad.

We have archery hunted those limited opp. units, there are good bulls to be had there, best of luck! Hope he gets a big one!

I'm not a pro at judging elk. I think that one will go over 320 by a ways once he is done.

The bull does look big in the velvet doesn't it? But Shane Koury looks at about as many elk as anyone during a year, he is probably right on the money.
