Beaver general deer

Would anyone like to give any info on the quality of the deer hunting in this unit. Not looking for a huge deer just a nice average 4x4 will be my goal. Also looking at the Manti unit but leaning towards Beaver due to less tags. Not looking to get in on anybody spot just trying to get a general opinion of the unit. Its more of a scouting trip for future elk hunting. I'll be hunting the muzzleloader season. Thanks

I do not know the Beaver extremely well because I prefer another southern unit, but my brother hunts the archery or muzzeloader hunt on there about every year. This is a picture of his 2012 buck. There are some good bucks, but it can be a challenge to find them in the open. My brother hunts some nasty thick timber way off the beaten path and he usually sees one or two bucks this size each season.

My son hunted a unit north of Beaver last year (Archery). It was hard finding any deer but he did miss a couple of bucks nothing big. I don't know the unit very good but I will say there's not a lot of deer.

Great looking buck Dillon. I would love to come across a buck like that but would settle for much less. Think i will apply for the tag. Anyone have any info on the pressure during muzzy and archery? Can a guy get away from the pressure if he hikes in

Beaver is big and deep, lots of places to get away from the pressure.
