So I've been reading some interesting reviews lately about the new miracle black powder - BH209. It seems like everyone has stellar reviews for it (myself included) if they've only been to the shooting range with it. Most of the bad reviews are from people that used it in the field. My impression, based on all the reviews I have read, is that if it sits in the barrel for a long amount of time it's not igniting the way it should, or in some cases not at all. Has anyone else actually hunted with it? or, shot it while out in the field and experienced this? I've shot it at the range and don't have anything but good to say about it but I'd hate to miss a 400+ bull up in the hills because my powder didn't fire. Anyway, just looking for feedback from anyone out there who has actually used BH209 out in the field while hunting. Did you ever experience a hang or misfire after the powder sat for a while?
