Good thread, as my bull isn't quite worthy of starting a new one! He may be small but had an awesome time on my muzzy hunt this year!

This kid has gone 3 for 3 so far taking a turkey and a deer last year as well. He has an off-range oryx hunt coming up in February...we'll see if he can go 4 for 4.

Awesome animals regardless what other people may think. Trophy in your eyes is what YOU go to sleep with! Great job to all! That's what we live for!!

Last post was in reference to "UngulateFoe" who thought his bull was not worthy of a thread. Not everyone kills those monsters but the hunters still have the same smile!

Bring on the Muleys!

Elksniper, i have been reading your post and u guys are tearin it up. i look forward to more and good luck on the up coming hunts.
Operation400, u guys did awesome on your hunts. thanks for sharing.
UngulateFoe, that bull might be a smaller bull, but i dig him. his horns look like some freaky buck and for that he is very unique. congrats on a very cool bull!

lets keep it rolling... Hazmatt

Great post , I love these pics. My wife gave birth to our third daughter this past July and knowing so I only put in for January bow hunt, so this fall is all about seeing and reading others hunts awaiting the January opener. This type of post is very much appreciated and keeps the fire 100% lit,so thanks to all and please keep them coming.

HAZMATT,

Thanks. The draw was very good to the Cortez family this year. We still got three more tags for the year. One cow elk and two Oryx tags. Hopefully the luck will still be rolling. I have been making a bunch of jerkey from my elk and sharing it with friends and family to make more room in the freezers.

Good luck to all who still have tags to fill.

UngulateFoe,
It doesn't get any better than that. Looks like you guys were in some nice country. I like the rack on that elk. Kina looks like a mule deer rack. Nice bull Congrats.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! Hard to tell, but he is a 3X5...a very freaky bull..haha. I can say that he had a huge body and is most tasteful...

Lets see some more!

My son harvested this bull on 10-01-10. I moved my game camera over the gut pile to see what was in the area. In less than 48 hours I had 2 different bears on it plus a ton of coyotes and birds. Here is a pic of the bull and one cool one of the bear.

This is the bull I took on 9/5/10. It was a great hunt.I passed on two 5x5s, and two smaller ones the days before. It was a great hunt with a double lung complete pass through.

Awesome photos all. Congrats on many great harvests and to all of you hunting with family and friends. Looks like 2010 has been a great season all the way around!

My father and I drew tags in the 16d late rifle for our first ever elk hunts. We hunted with Southwest Outdoors. Conditions were pretty tough as we fought high winds and no bugling. I chased a monster for 3 days before moving on, we both tagged 5x5's after alot of hard work, deciding elk meat is tastier than tag soup!

Great hunts all around everyone. I've been enjoying your hunts and photos but haven't contributed for awhile. Here's some photos from a couple of my trips this year. Still have a couple of hunts in the bag so hopefully I'll keep it going... missed an easy shot at the only big bull I had an opportunity at this year so I blanked on elk for the first time in quite some time. But, I've got a couple of full freezers so I cannot complain.

Whacked a turkey.
